I was finishing up some college classes and forgot the challenge. Now I'm going to try to cram as much blog posts before the end of the year. I wanted to do the
https://100daystooffload.com challenge to populate my blog with content even if i didn't compleate the challenge.
Quick Edit
I just realized the challenge is to post within a year not by the end of the year, Oops. I still want to get as much posted by the end of the year though.
I bought three 256GB SD cards at Walmart for $8 on clearance. then I looked at recently modded iPod mini and realized I could buy 3 iPod Mini's with cosmetic issues, 3D print replacement shell's with my own flair, install the clearance SD cards, and bundle in a nice USB cable and a budget pair of IEM's, then sell them as a beginner HiFi audio art piece.
My HP Envy x360 is consistently crashing. probably because I was compiling a application from source while the laptop fans were smothered by my bed and slightly cooked the CPU. I have swapped the RAM and storage to see if that was the issue, it was not. So i am shelving my HP Envy laptop for my old HP Elitebook 8460p that was presumed to have dead graphics from cat hair, old age, and the crushing weight of a over weight cat sitting on top while in the possession of my mother. A while ago I turned on my old HP Elitebook 8460p and i was working again; I don’t know how?
What now?
I will be using it for the time being, untill I can save up enough money for a framework 13.
BTW, since the HP elitebook is thicker and heavier that my HP envy, I have nicknamed it my CHONKY-HP.
I received the IPod on October 7th 2024. I started to flash mod the IPod with a 256 Gig SD card. Then when I disconnected the click wheel I used the provided pry tool and sliced into the solder pads. I should of used a different tool, but i did not.
What now?
I found a used click wheel on ebay, cheaper than on Elite Obsolete; so my wallet is not hurting too bad.
I will write a new post after I replace the click wheel.
